Creative Vision. A Passion for Excellence.

East Alabama Media was created with a simple mission: to create great video productions.

It all really began back around 1986, when Dan Gunter, founder of East Alabama Media, first discovered that he had both a love and talent for video production. While he was employed doing other things, it ate away at him until he founded "Cane Creek Productions" around 1998 -- which has now evolved into East Alabama Media.

We are a small firm. And we want to keep it that way. That's not to say we don't want to make BIG impressions, because we do. We do so -- FOR OUR CLIENTS -- on a regular basis. Our award winning productions have been viewed on television, cable, and the web. In fact, We are the "preferred filmmaker" for AT&T YellowPages.com's online advertising clients from Montgomery, AL to Columbus. GA. We produced almost fifty online ads for them last year alone. And we're still at it. See our demo page for a sampling of these. It would be easy to assume based on the volume and quality of content we have created that we're large, but we don't really are not and we don't want to be.

By keeping our firm small and the number of clients we serve to small numbers, we can devote the time necessary to treat every production with the T.L.C. it deserves. We know that when someone watches a video that we produced it says everything about us, what we do, and how well we do it. We only look good if we make you look good. A simple premise that makes good creative and business sense.

While creativity and making great video IS the heart of our business, like any business, "No margin = no mission." The good news is that by staying small we don't have the overhead costs of some businesses. We don't have to quote you a price based on covering a large office staff, a fancy office, telephone systems, expensive viewing lounges, etc. It's just us, good gear, a vehicle, some cell phones, and people who really care about the end result. So much so that most people can not imagine the number of hours that go into a job -- the "behind the scenes" time spent editing and tweaking a finished video until it meets our demanding standards in both aesthetic and technical quality terms.

East Alabama Media is proof that "Bigger isn't better," it would just cost you more.
